A U G U S T:

August was another month that flew by without a care in the world. Here’s what happened in my life

- morning coffee as always to begin my day
- I'm an empty nester!
- first blues concert
- the moon at night (thankfulness)
- workwear (starting to wear more of what I have)
- gel nail set! First time trying my hand at designing
- we got our first bell pepper in the garden
- what’s a road trip without a gas station photo
- getting back to wearing makeup ( I love that for me)
- I hung out with my brother and we had a time

FINALLY, I'm sitting down and going through all of my travel photos from last month. Panama City 🇵🇦 was among the most amazing travel destinations we have visited thus far. We did so much that I can't wait to share it all with you.

But first, check out one of the tours we did while there. This slingshot tour was A M A Z I N G! Riding through Casa Veija and Amador Causeway was a sight to see!

Be sure to wear your good wig chile cause that wind and the speed will take you out!

I highly recommend booking this tour on your next visit. More to come on everything my husband and I did in our 6 days in Panama.

Can we take a moment to talk about imposter syndrome? This past weekend, I started doubting myself.

When I saw that so many of my favorite content creators with a larger following were applying for the Sephora squad, I immediately thought to myself, why are you even tryinng.? Asking someone to share their honest feedback about my content frightens me. I am not very good at asking people to do anything for me. That feeling of rejection can cut sometimes.

Yet here I am, being open and honest and asking each and every one of you reading this that if I’ve ever inspired you through my beauty and lifestyle content, would you leave me an honest testimonial as I attempt to apply for the Sephora squad once again, linked in my bio.

I've learned to prioritize what is important to me

I've learned to prioritize what is important to me and live a stress-free life. As a married woman in my 40s, I have learned that I need to set boundaries and stick to them. I’ve also learned that I need to communicate with my husband and know what I need as it relates to my self-care journey—Communication is key.
