Whether you want to enjoy the summer sun or fall breeze, these Memphis brunch spots make it easy for you to kick back and enjoy a good time. I’ve rounded up the best brunch spots in Memphis that you can visit in 2022. Did I mention that a few of these brunch spots are my favorites? Most of these brunch spots feature outdoor spaces, while you can enjoy the other brunch locations indoors.

Downtown Memphis Brunch Spots

Automatic Slims

Location: 83 S 2nd St

Automatic Slims offers weekend brunch options between 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. From their delicious chocolate chip pancakes to their blackened salmon eggs benedict, Automatic Slim is a must-try for anyone looking to spend their weekend downtown eating a delightful brunch.

Vault Memphis

Location: 124 GE Patterson St

The Vault Memphis offers outside dining for those who enjoy people-watching. Unfortunately, this brunch spot only opens on Sundays from 11:00 a.m -3:00 p.m, but that shouldn’t stop you from filling your appetite with their brunch options. Grab the banana foster french toast topped with pralines and add a mimosa to sip while you enjoy the great Memphis weather.

Sage Memphis

Location: 94 S Main St.

Sage Memphis is in the heart of downtown Memphis. You’ll enjoy various delicious soul cuisine with an urban yet sophisticated atmosphere. Their shrimp and smoked grits are a hit in Memphis! Talk about delicious! Sage Memphis offers brunch on Saturdays only from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. And if you don’t have much of an appetite, stick to their fruit and cheese platter that will sure to satisfy your hunger without leaving you stuffed. During the spring months, you can enjoy your brunch meals on their small patio area, where you can catch the action on Main Street without the beaming sun.

Sage Restaurant- Waffles

Bishop Memphis

Location: 545 S Main St.

Located inside the Central Station Hotel, Bishop offers southern cuisine with bold and contemporary flavors. No matter how big or small your appetite might be, Bishop offers you plate size options to fulfill your brunch tastebuds. Did anyone mention steak and eggs? If you’re looking to satisfy your hunger, give Bishop Memphis a try.

Blind Bear

Location: 119 S Main St.

Looking for a brunch spot that opens on Fridays? Blind Bear serves you not only brunch but also brunch drink specials. With a brunch menu that offers whole wings and smothered chicken and waffles, you are missing out on a delicious and satisfying brunch outing at Blind Bear if you have yet to try this spot.

Babalu Taco & Tapas

Location: 2115 Madison Ave

If you’re looking for a brunch menu that you can enjoy a good conversation along with a pineapple mimosa, then Babalu is where you should be. Don’t let the short choice menu fool you; Babalu offers great brunch options! From the chocolate and caramel pancakes drizzled in Mexican chocolate to the crab cake benedicts, there is nothing short when it comes to their food bursting with flavor.

Beauty Shop Restaurant Lounge

Location: 966 S Cooper St

Can you imagine eating brunch in a restaurant with a salon atmosphere? This Memphis brunch spot caters to all party sizes with dining-in and patio options great for any party size. I like to call this brunch spot a hidden gem due to the brunch menu choices. If you’re a bacon lover, I highly recommend the applewood smoked bacon and the beignets; talk about yum! Brunch is open here on Sundays from 10 a.m.-3:00 p.m. I highly recommend making a reservation; seating fills up fast.

Boscos Restaurant

Location: 2120 Madison Ave

Boscos restaurant is the only restaurant in Memphis that is a brewery! Known for their handcrafted beer and fresh food, brunch here is a no-brainer. Located across from Babalu in the Midtown and Cooper-Young area, this open patio spot is suitable for laughs and fun. The brunch options are endless! You can enjoy a cup of espresso while eating Belgian waffles or a yummy frittata.

Lafayette Music Room

Location: 2119 Madison Ave

Located in the heart of Cooper-Young, Lafeyette Music Room brunch gives you smaller portion options that will not only satisfy your hunger but may leave you yearning for more. There are even options for Vegetarians. Brunch is every Saturday and Sunday,starting at 11:00 a.m.

Local On A Square

Location: 2126 Madison Ave

With many cocktails options to choose from, Local On a Square is perfect for those who enjoy weekend brunch with friends. Local On The Square is one of the brunch spots in Midtown that allows you a chance to sit back and enjoy some Memphis sun. If you’re not a cocktail lover, there’s white and red wine for your drinking pleasure. You should try the Egg Robert Johnson! One of the best chicken and waffles you’ll ever find.

East Memphis Brunch Spots

Another Broken Egg

Location: 6063 Park Ave

Another Broken Egg is one of Memphis’ well-known brunch spots. The menu has excellent selections like shrimp and grits and mardi gras omelets. The wonderful thing about this brunch location is that it’s open every day of the week, not just on the weekend!

Mahogany Memphis

Location: 3092 Poplar Ave

Hidden inside Chickasaw Oaks Village Mall, Mahogany is known for its upscale Southern cuisine with a hint of creole. I’ll be honest, the wait can be rather long, but the food choices are worth the wait! With oxtails on the brunch menu, why wouldn’t you want to check this brunch spot out?

Owen Brennan’s

Location: 6150 Poplar Ave #150

As one of Memphis top brunch spots, Owen Brennan’s is another local brunch spot that gives you a New Orleans type of vibe. Since I love New Orleans food, I visit here often. Serving brunch only on Sundays, Owen Brennan offers a la carte brunch with classic benedicts, voodoo chicken pasta, and foster or strawberry waffles. Talk about yum!

Big Bad Breakfast

Location: 6450 Poplar Ave Ste 119

I discovered this brunch spot in the city of Nashville only to fall in love with it and hope it comes to my area. Luckily, one of my favorite brunch spots is now in Memphis, and I am glad it is here. Suppose you enjoy big tasty biscuits with homemade strawberry jam or homemade turkey sausage with fried eggs. Big Bad Breakfast is by far one of my happy brunch spots.

Amerigo Italian Resturant

If you’re in the mood for an Italian brunch, Amerigo has one of the best Italian breakfast bowls packed with Italian sausage, pepperoni, and scrambled eggs. Or if you’re looking for something that will hold you over a little longer, the catfish po- boy with remoulade and romaine lettuce along with fries will do the trick. Amerigo Italian Restaurant is open Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
