I first discovered The Lip Bar while attending the Essence Festival in the summer of 2019. Since then, I have been a big fan. The Lip Bar offers a range of liquid matte lipsticks, lip glosses, lipsticks and has expanded its collection with foundation and concealer. Luckily, I was able to get my hands on their newest collection, the Fast Face Kit. In this blog post, I will share my thoughts on the entire collection.
The Lip Bar Fast Face Kit was created for women who are pressed for time and don’t want to spend hours doing their makeup. The collection equips you with the necessary products you will need to complete your look within 7 minutes. Whew! 7 minutes! This collection is great for beginners because it takes the guessing out.

Foundation
The Skin Serum foundation comes with a built-in brush for easy application. If you’re like me and enjoy a thicker brush, you may be hesitant in using this foundation. For me, I was unable to achieve the full coverage that I am accustomed to. Not to worry, if you’re looking for a foundation that is not heavy and you need just a small amount of coverage, this foundation is ideal for you.
Minute Finish Face Palette
The Minute Finish Face Palette offers you a face powder, blush, highlighter, and contour powder. By far, my favorite out of this palette is the highlighter. This gives me a nice glow. The face powder hasn’t really given me the wow factor. But it would be greatly used as a setting better.
Quick Draw 2-in-1 Brow Gel Pen
Who doesn’t love a good brow? For some reason, my brows have not been on their best behavior lately. The key to getting the perfect eyebrow look is to make sure that you are lightly stroking the hair strands. The brow pencil side is the best angle. It comes in handy when you want the precise eyebrow look.
Sraight Line Eyeliner
For some reason, I could not figure out how to properly re-use this eyeliner. Luckily, my friends over at the Lip Bar guided me. I didn’t know that this eyeliner was a sharpener! This eyeliner is thick, so be careful not to press to firmly into your lower eyelids; if so, it will be very dark. Unless that is the look, you’re going for.
Lipstick
A makeup look is not complete without any lipstick! Never forget the lipstick ladies! The Fast Face Kit has 1 out of 3 liquid matte lipsticks that you can choose from that fits your skin tone.
All in all, I think The Lip Bar Fast Face Kit is worth it! Especially for beginners and those who like natural soft glam looks.
