Summer is here, and I’m happy to wear some new shades of matte liquid lipsticks. If you’ve been following me for a while on Instagram, you already know how much I love a good lipstick color.
Missy Russell Beauty is a lipstick brand located out of Memphis TN and recently released its matte liquid lipstick summer shades. I love how Missy Russell Beauty’s matte liquid lipsticks go on glossy but have a matte finish. In this collection, there are three shades, and I was able to get my hands on all three.
Over The Top
The Over The Top lipstick shade is a very bold pinkish/reddish color. Not only is this shade bright but has that in-between shade of red and pink. Now that I have been in the lipstick game for a long time, I’ve come to appreciate both colors. Vivacious
Vivacious is what I like to call pretty in pink. It’s not your average pink color; it’s bolder and brighter. Imagine being able to stop traffic with this matte liquid lipstick color. Although, for some reason I thought I wasn’t going to be able to pull this one off!
Royal
For some reason, Royal stood out the most for me. Because I love a good purple liquid lipstick this my favorite. When I tested out this color, I immediately knew that I was going to be in love. Royal is absolutely the perfect shade for summer.
You don’t have to worry about staining once you have these colors on your lips. Once you apply, wait a minute or two for the lipstick to dry, and the color will stay.
