According to my followers on Instagram I am the Queen of “Popping Lips”. What can I say, I love a good lipstick! If you’re not into lipsticks or are afraid to wear bold colors, I suggest you work on changing that. However, if you’re like me and not afraid of color here are few lipstick colors that I love and I think you will too.
MISSY RUSSELL BEAUTY
When the owner Jerrica Williams reached out to me to become a brand ambassador for her brand, I was beyond excited. I love all types of lipsticks (matte or glossy) so I knew this would be right up my alley. Although I am no longer a brand ambassador for this brand, I still rave about these products. Here are a few of my favorites. All of their liquid lipsticks are smudge resistant and has full coverage.
Not everyone will be able to appreciate the color Gracious. This liquid lipstick color is very bold and not everyone can or would want to wear this one. The reason why I say not everyone can wear this color is because you must be ready for looks from friends and strangers. This liquid lipstick is very bold! However, if you keep an open mind and step outside of your comfort zone I think you would grow to love it. The more you layer on this lipstick the bolder and brighter it is.
Oh how I love Magical! Not only is this a beautiful plum color, its the one that keep in my purse the most. I love wearing Magical because it adds a little something-something to my overall look. I believe this lipstick would be perfect for any skin tone.
Unapologetic– Currently sold out
This liquid lipstick is one for the gram honey, yessssss! It’s a little bolder than Magical and is another one of my favorites. If you’re looking for a lipstick that will grab attention then this is for you. I’ve received so many compliments when I wore this lipstick.
THE LIP BAR
If you’re a lover of Target then you’ve seen The Lip Bar in their stores. It wasn’t until I had gone to Essence Festival in 2019 that I discovered this brand. Not sure why I’d waited so long to try a few of their lipsticks, but I am so happy that I have. Goes on so smooth and pretty.
Hot Mama– Currently sold out
Go red or go home! Being a woman with full lips I used to be afraid to wear red lipstick but not anymore! This color is a fire hot red and I love it. If you’re looking for a red that will set your lips on fire (not literally), then this is a must-have, you will definitely make a statement with this color!
I fell in love with this shade just a few weeks back and had to share my love for it with you. This is such a feminine lipstick. This is not a matte liquid lipstick and I love it just the same. Everything about it screams sassy but still classy. With a smooth texture you would want to keep this one near you at all times.
Sarcastic Cosmetics
I was first introduced to this brand by scrolling Instagram. They were having a five-dollar sale that I could not pass on! If you’re a lover of liquid lipsticks then you understand why.

One word….. Beautiful! I am the type of woman who will wear just about any shade during any season. The packaging is so cute and the fragrance smells so good. I love how smooth this liquid lipstick is and how soft it looks on. This is another one I am always grabbing and putting in my purse. See for yourself.

I love the compliments I receive on this lipstick when I wear it. I am telling you, this is one that you want to grab and keep. With an all day long-lasting wear, its an excellent choice for summer.
